I was hosted by Andrea Brower and her crew and put on two, fairly short notice 2 hour workshops regarding rainfall catchment. I have built over 200 catchment systems in Washington and they are all for whole house use including potable. I am also the President of the American Rainfall Catchment Systems Association.

You folks are in a very unique position to provide yourselves with household water without depending on a diesel dependent utility. If the barge doesn't make it your utility wells stop. With the sunshine available and the rainfall (I know it is much less on the fringe of the Island) it would be quite easy and cost effective to provide yourselves with totally sustainable water systems. I would love to have an excuse to come back and do several much bigger workshops with information specific to your environment. Work with Andrea and others and put together a road trip for me.

Tim Pope
President Northwest Water Source
Friday Harbor, Wa
360-378-8252
water@interisland.net
also
President
American Rainfall Catchment Systems Association
www.arcsa.org

mahaloTim Popehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15360132694596498250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7875069982976812251.post-60577380833303960602009-05-04T16:09:00.000-10:002009-05-04T16:09:00.000-10:00Hi Joan
