He's hoping folks will make time to show up at Wednesday EIS meeting @ KCC (Wed March 19 2-5pm and 6-9pm). <BR/><BR/>The public input may influence the outcomes of the DOT Belt Collins report(you'd hope so)but it's been hard to assess the impacts of a boat that hasn't delivered. <BR/><BR/>From military concerns, social impacts and environmental degradation there's many items needed to be reviewed and evaluated. Then there are all the extra costs to government and taxpayers for subsidized facilities and services(barges, inspections, liability insurance,etc..). Unforeseen costs and impacts are hard to project but the public has another opportunity to provide input regarding concerns and impacts of the HawaiiShibaiFerry.<BR/><BR/>Mahalo again for shining a little light in the dark corners of our world.
