Joan,

After having talked with a number of the "farmers" in the Moloaa hui, I have come around to your line of reasoning on this. A number of them are "just tree farmers" and freely admit they don't plan on being there more than a few more years. I think that pretty much says what their intentions are.

especially when they want the bill to not impose size limits on the dwelling, or time limits on the workers, so you have a a developer/farmer build a 1200 sq foot house for a worker who works 12 hours a month. Nice economy there, what a herring.

This all goes to show how our leaders are committed to helping the rich landowners. Why not offer incentives to real farmers, like reduced property taxes and cheap water?

Cuz that would help the real farmers not the speculators, duh
